We are Pattidawn and Bill, and we started life together in Santa Cruz, California, in July of 1968, as "Mr. and Mrs.".  We have developed a love of entertaining around gourmet foods, as well as family favorites, and most of our creations have been tried and enjoyed by our friends and family.  

My own personal "plaid cook book" began as a hand-written collection the Spring after a severe head injury confined me at home.  My parents entertained often, and, along with learning to enjoy gourmet cooking, came the camaraderie that Bill and I have nurtured with those around us.  We have taught each other more about foods than we both knew before we were married, and we have equally learned about entertaining and our unique way of enjoying Life.
